Event Details
Party in the Park (July 2, 2022)
This huge annual celebration takes place in Andrew Brown Park East. The party kicks off at 6 pm and lasts up until 10 pm. There will be many lawn games, a food area with local vendors, and a concert zone. Visitors will have a chance to enjoy amazing live music by Prophets and Outlaws (starting at 6 pm) and Emerald City Band (starting at 8 pm).
The event’s administration has also prepared a magnificent fireworks display, which should start at 9:45 pm. Before the pyrotechnic show, you’ll be able to listen to a patriotic national anthem performance. As for parking, it won’t be a problem (visit the official website for more information).
Parade Down Parkway (July 4, 2022)
The patriotic 4th-of-July parade is a long-awaited, annual event. It starts at Samuel Blvd. (or Sandy Lake Rd), goes north to Parkway Blvd., and then travels west, all the way to Town Center. Anyone interested in joining the parade is welcome to fill out an application form. There will be lots of decorated vehicles, floats, and other cool stuff, so embellish your bicycle, car, or yourself! After all, you can always walk in the parade. Plus, book your accommodation beforehand as Coppell is quite busy this time of year.
