2019 One Health Conference

We are excited to have the 2019 One Health Conference at Marriot Marquis Houston on Friday and Saturday, September 6-7! This year’s theme “Building Resilience in a Changing World” aligns with Harris County Public Health’s commitment to creating healthy, resilient communities by promoting and sustaining the health and well-being of humans, animals, and the environment. The One Health conference achieves our commitment by:

Aligning education and communication efforts across disciplines
Creating and enhancing multidisciplinary community partnerships
Promoting One Health principles
We have 22 incredible talks, including 4 keynotes (Dr. Casey Barton Behravesh, Dr. Peter Hotez, Dr. Tammy Beckham, and Dr. Sean Bush – The Snake Doctor), a healthcare-associated infections track, and 2-panel discussions! We are also having a Poster Session and Networking Reception featuring a special book signing by Dr. Peter Hotez on Friday night from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm!

Registration begins at 8:00 am. The program begins at 9:00 am
