The Southern Fried Chicken Festival is a celebration of Houston’s number one consumed fried dish! The most talented chefs and culinary artists will convene at this event to showcase their creative and flavorful fried chicken master pieces! Houston's best restaurants, food trucks and concessionaire’s serving up crispy fried chicken with all the fixin’s you love!

Every guest must have a printed ticket in their hand or digital ticket on their mobile device to be scanned to enter SFCF.
How much can I eat? SFCF General admission and VIP tickets all come with $5 voucher that can be used one time for a $5 discount at any food vendor in the park. Please note that the $5 voucher does not come with the free general admission ticket. Your mission is to taste from all of the fried chicken vendors on the grounds. You can buy full meals from any vendor on the grounds as they will also be offering their full menu. ALL PURCHASED GENRAL ADMISSION AND YARD BIRD PASSES COME WITH 1 FREE ENTREE VOUCHER WHICH GETS YOU A $5 ENTREE WITH SIDE FROM ANY FRIED CHICKEN VENDOR IN THE PARK.
What do I need to bring? Please bring your ticket or electronic ticket, your ID, cash/credit to purchase Southern Fried Chicken Fest merchandise, vendor merchandise, Fried chicken dishes, hot sauces and such! What happens if it’s raining? If the city of Houston is having inclement weather and shuts the city down, we have a rain date of September 9th planned. Same place, same time!
Will you be selling Southern Fried Chicken Fest Houston t-shirts this year? Yes, we accept cash and credit cards. We will have the logo shirts for sale at the festival and also on line on our website on the “SFCF Merchandise” tab.
How do I purchase both alcohlic and non alcoholic drinks at the festival?
All drinks can be purchased with cash or credit card at the drink booths.
