Event Details
Come little children, let us take you away... deep into the haunted woods at B*E Winery.
July 1692,
Salem, Massachusetts, sisters Sarah and Agatha Bradbury were accused of witchcraft by a neighbor jealous of their beauty. Knowing what would happen should they be tried and proven to be witches, the sisters escaped to their cousin down in New Orleans. The sisters followed the gulf to a magically uninhabited area north of Houston. Trying to blend into normal society and hide their magic, Sarah Bradbury married a dairy farmer by the name of Jack Proctor and moved onto his land in Plantersville while Agatha secretly became with-child by her own sister’s Jack and ran away to Conroe.
On All Hallows Eve, Sarah found out the secret Jack and Agatha hid from her and used her magic filled with rage, accidentally killing Jack. In the pumpkin patch, as Sarah cried over Jack’s lifeless body, she summoned all of her magic to try to bring him back. But in her grief, instead of bringing life to Jack, she cursed the land and brought life to all others who had died before.
Agatha, hiding from her sister's rage within the woods, however, could not hide from her magic. With the curse Sarah put on the land, she also cursed her own sister. Agatha lost her child and could never bear another. Although not as powerful of a witch as her sister, she still knew some spells. And deep within the woods, where the dead began to rise, Agatha put out an enchantment to charm the children near and far, calling them to her.
Now, in 2022, the curse and enchantment still haunt the woods. Can you survive a night on the haunted trails?
