Dr. Nicola Fox leads the agency’s efforts to study the Sun and its effects on Earth and the solar system. Heliophysics is vital to understanding Earth’s most important and life-sustaining star, as well as the study of key space phenomena and processes that support situational awareness in order to better protect astronauts, satellites, and robotic missions exploring the solar system and beyond.

All on-campus parking is accessed by credit card. Visitor parking is available in paid lots located off of Rice Boulevard. Central Garage and West Lot 2 are closest to the event, and are easily accessed through Entrance 18 (follow signs).
