Pediatric Trauma Symposium is a day of trauma education provided by content experts from all areas of the hospital in order to support staff that care for, or are interested in caring for, the trauma patient. The course has been designed to benefit healthcare providers from all units and departments. Trauma Symposium offers education through interactive lectures, a discussion panel, disaster activity, and skills stations.

Airway/C-Spine
Burn
GI/GU trauma
Head/Neck trauma
Musculoskeletal trauma
Physical assessment
Plastic surgery trauma
Psychosocial concerns
Shock
Texas Children’s Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association - Approver, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:
