Bacaro Kitchen & Wine Bar is a concept created by owners, Bill and Maria Loveday, both originally from New York and now living in Katy. The Lovedays purchased The Devine Affair early 2019, rebranding to the Bacaro concept over Summer 2019. Bill has been in the hospitality business his entire life, managing restaurants, private clubs and fine wine sales teams. His passion and enthusiasm for food and wine will be bringing many new events and experiences. Maria is a veteran teacher, currently working at Katy ISD, but you will see her at the front door on Fridays and Saturdays greeting and seating guests. She is the Italian, spiritual soul of the couple and will be contributing some of the traditional tastes and hospitality of her family. Bill and Maria first arrived in Houston in 2005 with their three beautiful children when Bill was General Manager at the University Club in the Galleria. Though they live in Katy, they are looking forward to embracing the Memorial community for many years to come!
