What originally began as the Chinese Food Products imports store in 1968 has now become one of Houston's most well-known dining spots, serving Houston's best Chinese for over 40 years. After a year of serving the community's culinary needs, David and Marian Jue decided to switch gears; and in 1969 they opened China Garden's doors for the first time. Now a Houston tradition, China Garden has been able to delight not only the native Houstonians who have made it a staple in the Houston dining scene; it has also become the second home to many a traveler passing through Space City USA.
