This course is tailored to individuals who are not sure they can knit. See how soothing and simple knitting is. Use a Continental approach, which is faster than American because you work with only one hand. In a supportive atmosphere, learn it all–from deciphering abbreviations in the knitting instructions to finishing the last stitch of this introductory project: a scarf. NOTE: Scarf yarn will be discussed during the first class. It needs to be purchased before the second meeting. Right-handed knitting will be taught, although instruction will be modified for left-handers. Alina Liderman is an avid knitter and has been teaching this craft for many years. She's been an LLU instructor since 1998.
