On Memorial Day, May 28, Gringo's Mexican Kitchen & Jimmy Changas will be partnering with Camp Hope to host "Pull-Ups for a Purpose”. The event and purpose is to bring further awareness to PTSD, and the services Camp Hope offers to our veterans.
Event Details
Gringo’s and Jimmy Changas were founded on five Core Values; one of which being Core Value #3, “Reinvesting in our Team Members and Local Community”. This Core Value has a deep, purposeful meaning throughout the entire company. Whenever a team member, or member of the community they serve, is in NEED -- they act on it.
Jonathan Kim, COO of Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen & Jimmy Changas, will attempt 2,000 pull-ups in a 10 hour and 30 minute time frame. Companies and individuals will have the opportunity to donate a flat donation amount, or pledge an amount per pull up in order to help meet the $100,000 goal. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to the PTSD Foundation of America, Camp Hope.
