HAAPIFEST (Houston Asian American Pacific Islander Film Festival) is celebrating it's 15th anniversary and we're inviting all middle and high school students of any experience level to register for the Student Filmmaker Workshop.

Event Details

The workshop gives students the opportunity to engage with local filmmakers in groups via lecture, as well as hands-on practice recording and video editing. Students will be tasked to create a short film (maximum 10 minutes) in groups which will be screened sometime during the festival - DATE TBA. They will also get the opportunity to share their experience making the short and interact with the audience at the screening. During the week, students will be able to engage with the instructors to get feedback on their work.
