Named after the patron saint of music, La Santa Cecilia, sings with a captivating voice about love, loss, and everyday struggles. The band has become the voice of a new bicultural generation in the US, fully immersed in modern music, but always close to their Latin American influences and Mexican heritage.
Female fronted Siempre Selena is a vibrant live music tribute to the late great queen of Tejano, Selena Quintanilla. The group started at the end of 2017 when a few members from a Houston variety band (Kaos) and an original ska band (Los Skarnales) decided to collaborate. All the music this band produces during their performance is live. There are no use of play backs or tracks. The tribute consists of a four part percussion section, bass, keys, electric guitar and female/male vocals. You will hear Selena’s early hits along with her later work, such as her English crossover ballads.
