Description
Permanently Closed.. It's food with southern roots, but with international seasons and flavorings. It's unpretentious and casual, and at the same time out of the ordinary. Try our Shrimp and Grits, Black Vinegar Braised Oxtail, Crispy Okra, and Thai Fried Chicken, all with southern roots, but new flavors. It's not fusion, it's just good food.
Kitchen 713 started with co-chef-owners James Haywood and Ross Coleman in Houston's Second Ward. The chefs met working together at Minute Maid Park and decided to set out on their own. The space was small and provided counter-service only, but was a hit with unique dishes. At the end of December, 2016, Kitchen 713 moved to 4601 Washington Avenue to offer more space and the option of a cocktail menu.
