Event Details

Join the Citizens Environmental Coalition (CEC) for two nights of environmental inspiration as we host the fifth Houston screening of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour!
A selection of films from the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, North America’s largest environmental film festival, will bring two hours of beautiful, educational, and inspiring films to the big screen at River Oaks Theatre on January 30 & 31, 2019, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm each night.
We will show a different selection of films each night which cover a variety of issues. It is our hope to use the festival to increase community understanding of the connection we share with the planet and our roles as stewards of the environment in which we live. We will also show a local environmental film each night to highlight the work of CEC’s member organizations, and inspire our residents and visitors to make a difference in the environment and quality of life.
Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more, students, and volunteers. Please contact info@cechouston.org for more information.
