Description
Celebrate the arrival of winter by learning about arts and culture in Japan and China! Make crafts together as a family, creating new holiday mementos and memories.
Event Details
Create holiday-themed origami such as snowflakes, trees, and gifts, and try your hand at making your own wintry woodblock prints! Learn about the famous Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin, China, and design your own sculpture using foam.
Throughout the workshop, sip on green tea or hot chocolate. Try Asian sweets, snacks, and cookies, and take a Winter Wonderland selfie in our photo booth!
This event is free for Asia Society members, but all members must pre-register. Tickets for nonmembers are $5, which includes admission for one (1) adult and one (1) child.
