Designing a web "page" is one thing. Creating a web "site" is another. A web site lives or dies on its appearance, ease of use and speed–at least as far as how it is perceived by your intended audience. Before you begin writing your web pages you must develop the overall design, organization, navigational scheme and style of the site. Learn from a pro the importance of style, size, speed, layout and organization of your pages and graphics considerations such as formats, size, color reproducibility and popular graphics software. NOTE: Knowledge of the Internet and experience creating and implementing HTML files is strongly recommended. See LLU Computer Center Class Video.
Computer Center instructors include Bill Stewart, co-founder and director of the LLU Computer Center since 1990. Bill teaches all 8001, 8006 classes as well as several others.
