Learn essential Windows operating system concepts, file organization and management, working with various programs and data types, moving data across programs to create multi-media documents and more. Find out what it really takes to work in the object-oriented environment that Windows creates. Numerous examples involving graphics, flash drives, digital cameras, and sound will reinforce these concepts. Although programs have more features than ever before, they have adopted standardized methods that, once understood in the proper context, will get you up to speed and productive very quickly. NOTE: Prior enrollment in course 8001 or equivalent knowledge and experience is required. See LLU Computer Center Class Video.
