Event Details

In September of 2011, the instructor of this class, Stephen Vowell, with video camera in tow, spent 10 days capturing the turmoil in this volatile region of the world. His primary reason for going there was to find out the unbiased truth. Consequently, he interviewed Israelis, Palestinians, Muslims, Christians and members of the secular community. He was also going to capture on tape the building of a new four-story underground hospital in Tel Aviv. See the results of his journey, hear his perceptions and share yours. This should be a very lively one-night class that will get you as good an analysis of the situation there as you're likely to get while still remaining in Houston. NOTE: Half of the proceeds from this class will be donated to the charity listed below. Stephen Vowell is a member of a Houston-based charity, "Hear the Cries of the Children," that provides food, clothing and shelter to at-risk individuals of all ages across the globe. He has studied theology for 25 years.
