Leisure Weekend Sailing

Experience the "hydro-therapy" of rest and relaxation aboard a 38' sailboat on Galveston Bay. Everyone will get an opportunity to get behind the wheel for those not so inclined, relax and savor the journey. This also provides an excellent opportunity for people who have sailed before to refine their "hands-on" sailing skills. Bring your camera and refreshments. NOTE: There are no refunds, credits or transfers after 5pm on the Thursday prior to class. Captain Dave McCabe, USCG licensed Master, has taught and chartered with Blue Marlin Sailing School since 1987. His range of experience, beginning in 1956, encompasses sailing in Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf waters. In 2006, he sailed 4,000 miles over five weeks, from the Caribbean to England.
